Sqliqs is free. We don't charge you anything to use it — no subscriptions, no seats, no paywalled features, no trials that expire. Everything the product does is available to everyone.
So how does it work?
Sqliqs is bring-your-own-key (BYOK). Instead of us reselling AI access with a markup, you connect your own API key from a model provider, and you pay that provider directly for what you use. We never sit in the middle of that bill and we never take a cut.
That means:
- From us: $0. Always.
- From your model provider: whatever your own usage costs, billed straight to you.
You stay in full control of your spending — set limits with your provider, switch models anytime, and only pay for what you actually run.
Start free with the built-in model
Don't have a key yet? You can use Sqliqs's built-in free model with no key at all — perfect for trying it out or light use.
Because it's shared and free, it comes with trade-offs:
- Rate limited — a small number of requests per day.
- Slower responses — it's not prioritized the way a paid key is.
- Lighter reasoning — fine for simple questions, less reliable on complex ones.
When you're ready to use Sqliqs seriously, add your own key.
Better models, better answers
The model you choose makes a real difference. More capable models:
- Write more accurate queries from your questions,
- Handle larger, more complex schemas,
- Reason better over your data for reports and analysis, and
- Respond faster and more reliably.
If answers feel shallow or a generated query looks off, switching to a stronger model is usually the fix. You're paying your provider directly, so you decide the balance of cost and quality that suits each project.
